  1. YAY Feeling 5 Years that is freakin awesome!!! Sorry to hear that you have been in a bit of a dark space though. Being sober doesn’t protect us from all of that in fact sometimes we feel it even deeper because we aren’t numbing it and we are actually allowing ourselves to feel. XOX

    • Yes FG! Thank you. 🙂 And that is exactly the thing: feeling deeper here. 😦 And with the world burning I am not seeing the good side of the feeling and experiencing deeper. I have learned to understand thoroughly why I drank though. That is a good thing that has come from it. 🙂

    • Hi Anne, thank you! 🙂 ❤ I missed you and everybody – but my head was stuck and I was staring at my bellybutton for a long time. I did get help, loads of it. Both regular and homeopathic. Hope you are doing ok, I have about 6 months of reading to catch up I believe. Will do in due time. 🙂

  2. Congrats galore on your soberversary, xx!!! And b.t.w., since I came across an old post of mine and found our conversation on VTS and NDEs, I think I’ve now gotten over the threshold of my sceptisicm about potentially ‘eternal’ and infinite/non-local consciousness. At the very least, we seem to have really solid and multiple evidence to conclude that _some_ type of reasoning, waking, “me”-kind of consciousness is not bound to the brain nor is it produced by it. We discussed it here: https://wp.me/p8TOC-1g9

(I came across it in the process of revoking some more personal posts, which I reassessed as too “whiney”, not really helpful to others, and for some technical and copyright considerations – and our thread struck me all over as it’s interesting to read it again with time passed and with me reassessing my position on consciousness, NDEs and the whole thing. (in that vein, it really puts VTS into a much different light, right? Like, you’re losing a potential confidant or companion in this particular incarnation right at the outset and even before having fully completed the incarnation process… Huh!)

Anyway – super happy that you are sober and have new quality of life! (It DOES make a difference – and then some, doesn’t it? 🙂 )
