Edit by me: I found this a very interesting article on how alcohol damages the brain and what can be done to restore the damage. With interesting tips amongst which ‘trust people’. Seems to be good for the brain too. 🙂

  1. That is a really, really interesting article, thank you for sharing it. I have to say that it totally reinforces many of the things that I have come to think about in these last few months in terms of what is needed in order to just survive early sobriety …. the eating well, exercising well stuff etc but I’d never thought it out to a conclusion whereby by doing it we were actually giving our brains what is needed to heal and thereby the healing and lifestyle changes in general would take us on into long term sobriety. While the idea of the 12 step AA approach doesn’t do anything for me at moment (never say never), it is the connection I feel through blogging and one other online community that gives the additional support he refers to as a final points, at one part of the article.
So yes, a great article 😊 thank you

I’m going to check out the website some more.
Thanks for dropping by and commenting! 🙂
