Free online 10 day EFT seminar

I’m not sure what to think of it yet but over here you can sign up for a 10 days free online seminar on EFT or ‘tapping’ –  a small excercise that is said to ‘rewire the brain’ and in such a way help people overcome obstacles in life more easily.

I’ve posted this here because I have heard a few people in the sober blogosphere speak of this technique – maybe you want to check it out for yourself? I’m not sure if I’m gonna be in.

Please let me know what you think if you know more about this technique!

  1. EFT is an interesting concept – I wonder how it would work online? Hmm. I might look into it. I’ve been thinking about you a lot lately because I’ve really been struggling with my sugar addiction. :/

    • Aaah, that might be a good project to work on now you mention it. I do not know anything about it but am curious and I don’t want to use this on anything big to start with because if it happens to be just another fake thing I don’t want to mess with my memory of the really bad stuff. You never know what stuff does if you put wrong pressure on it. Guess I’ll have to see. 🙂

      • I don’t know. I’ve been wondering if I should dip my toe back in the waters of hypnotherapy as well. There are some good free sessions online. :/ I might think about EFT for the sugar as well. It can’t get any worse than it is right now! Ugh. I know they say not to worry too much about it in early sobriety…but I’m starting to have a LOT of cravings for alcohol as well. To the point where I just smelled and tasted some of the fresh lime margaritas I was making last summer. Yuck.

      • Aaah, nasty. 😦 The addict inside in its death throws reaching out for you? ‘You stay small and addicted and hurt and I will be victorious!’
I come to believe that the addict in me is ‘just’ another of my own destructive powers. I don’t want to think about myself like that anymore. Because it is not good. I am here, on my own, I can secretly like myself, nobody here to tell me differently :-).
But eh, what’s up with the sudden cravings?
        xx, Feeling
